Meet the Lawyer
Sivgech Chheng (a.k.a Sue) is a licensed lawyer in Cambodia with 10 years of experience as a panel lawyer and in-house legal counsel in the financial services industry, including insurance and banking.
Sue has supported financial service companies in achieving their business goals while mitigating legal risks. She has provided legal services to newly established entities in Cambodia, focusing on corporate compliance, governance structures, and strategic communication between shareholders, the Board, and senior management. Additionally, Sue advises on major commercial contracts between entities and their business partners and investors.
In addition to serving corporate clients, Sue has also represented individual clients in various legal matters such as employment issues, family disputes, e-commerce crimes, and business partnerships. These individual cases have been particularly fulfilling, allowing Sue to apply high standards and efficiency gained from corporate experience to a broader range of legal issues.
