As a Legal Intern at Rebase Legal, you will gain hands-on experience by:

• Assisting our legal team with legal research, analysis, and drafting documents under Cambodian law.

• Supporting case preparation and management, utilizing our modern legal tech tools.

• Assisting with the creation and management of digital content for the firm's online presence (e.g., social media updates, website content) under supervision.

• Helping prepare legal correspondence and communications for clients and stakeholders.

• Contributing to the maintenance of our knowledge management systems.

• Observing client consultations and team meetings (where appropriate).

• Performing administrative tasks related to legal case files and firm operations.

• Engaging with our commitment to innovation by exploring new legal tech applications and digital communication strategies.

We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Currently enrolled in at least the 3rd year of a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent law degree program in Cambodia.

• Strong academic record with a genuine interest in corporate law, commercial law, technology law, or the intersection of law and digital media.

• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills in both Khmer and English.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Demonstrated familiarity with major social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook) and basic digital content creation tools (e.g., Canva or similar).

• Familiarity with or strong interest in legal technology is a significant plus.

• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

• Proactive, adaptable, creative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong ethical compass and commitment to client confidentiality.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

• This internship offers valuable practical experience in a modern, digitally-focused law firm setting and the opportunity to learn directly from experienced legal professionals. 

• A stipend will be provided for the duration of the internship, and the firm will equip you with the necessary tools and resources to effectively contribute.
